Our history has its roots in the late 1970s,
when Lino Giglio embarked on his professional path
in his father Franco's restoration workshop.

It was at 53 Via Pisacane in Milan, the current location of Galleria Antichità Giglio, that he took his first steps.
His first experiences in the world of antiques came from a practical and technical knowledge of antique furniture:
its construction, timbers, eras and styles. From this apprenticeship came a deep passion and a constant
desire to deepen his knowledge of the world of antiques and art.

40 years of passion
In 1986 Giglio & C. was founded, specializing in the purchase and appraisal of furniture, objets d'art, antique paintings and sculptures, as well as modern works of art.
Over time, research work done with self-sacrifice and a desire for growth lead him to discover prestigious furniture and paintings that tell the story of art.
The presence in Italian fairs such as the Florence Biennale and Modenantiquaria and international fairs such as the Miami and London fairs are testimony to the skills and success achieved.
The seriousness and experience of Giglio & C. are confirmed by a large and loyal clientele and supported by collaborators who are specialists in the many areas of antiques.
Antichità Giglio's philosophy: the importance of building strong relationships in the world of art and antiques.
Over the years, Lino Giglio has cultivated valuable partnerships with various professionals in the field, including antiquarians, collectors, restorers and experts.
One of our distinctive strengths is our direct approach in acquiring art and antiques from private individuals, which allows us to offer unique and high quality pieces.
