Product Description

  1. ‘Antichità Giglio’ acquires its goods exclusively from private individuals, presenting them on the website with an indication of their current and actual condition. Prices and availability of products are detailed on the website (after registration) and are subject to change without notice.
  2. ‘Antichità Giglio’ takes the utmost care in the presentation of products on its website.
    However, the description given does not imply that they are free of imperfections that can only be detected when viewed directly. The products present on the website can be viewed at our premises, preferably by appointment.
  3. If requested by interested parties (by email at info@antichitagiglio.it or by telephone on +39 335 637915) ‘Antichità Giglio’ makes available condition reports on the condition of each product on sale, which, in any case, must be considered indicative and not a substitute for the direct viewing of the products by interested parties.
  4. All products of an electrical or mechanical nature are to be considered solely on the basis of their artistic and decorative value and are not to be considered functional. If interested parties need to check the operation of these products, even through their own delegates, they may make a request by email to info@antichitagiglio.it or by telephone on +39 335 6379151.

Delivery and Collection of Goods  

  1. The purchased products will only be delivered by ‘Antichità Giglio’ to the purchasers after receiving full payment of the total amount due.
  2. AAfter full payment of the price, purchasers shall collect the lot directly from one of the offices in Milan: Via Pisacane, 53 or Via Monfalcone, 12, within two weeks of purchase (starting from the actual crediting of the price). In the absence of collection of the goods within the aforementioned deadline, ‘Antichità Giglio’ shall accrue the right to demand from the purchaser, without any formalities, an amount of €5 by way of deposit cost for each day of delay in collecting the goods.
  3. In the event that purchasers instruct a third party to collect the purchased product, the latter must be provided with a written proxy as well as a photocopy of the purchaser's document and of the purchaser's proxy for collection.
  4. ‘Antichità Giglio’ may organise, at the expense and risk of the purchaser, the packaging, transport and insurance of the lot, subject to written notification and acceptance by the purchaser of the relative costs.

Export from the Territory of the Italian Republic. Declaration of Cultural Interest

  1. The export of goods from Italian territory may be subject to the issuance of a free circulation certificate or other export authorization, in accordance with Articles 65 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 42 of January 22, 2004. For lots subject to a declaration of cultural interest (so-called "notification") pursuant to Articles 13 et seq. of Legislative Decree no. 42/2004 and/or to the initiation of the aforementioned "notification" procedure, the Buyer must observe all legal provisions and any other applicable special regulations, including those concerning customs, currency, taxation, and protected species.
  2. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to verify any restrictions on the circulation and/or export of the purchased item, as well as to obtain any licenses or certificates required by law in Italy and in the country of destination. It will also be their duty to fulfill all formalities and legal obligations provided for circulation and/or export, expressly exempting "Antichità Giglio" from any obligation and/or liability in this regard.
  3. The failure or delay in issuing the free circulation certificate and/or the export license and/or any other export authorization shall in no way constitute grounds for termination or cancellation of the sale. Consequently, such an eventuality cannot justify any failure or delay in your payment of the due amount.
  4. Following full payment of the price and upon written request from the buyer, "Antichità Giglio" is available free of charge to submit the application to obtain the free circulation certificate and/or the export license for each work of art, although it assumes no responsibility, obligation, or guarantee regarding the outcome of such practice and the issuance of the documentation.

Customer Due Diligence Obligations

  1. In accordance with Article 22 of Legislative Decree no. 231/2007 (Anti-Money Laundering Decree and its subsequent additions and amendments), it is necessary to provide a copy of your identity document and all updated information useful to allow "Antichità Giglio" to fulfill its customer due diligence obligations. The finalization of transactions will therefore be subject to the provision of the information required for the fulfillment of these obligations.
  2. Pursuant to Article 42 of Legislative Decree no. 231/07, "Antichità Giglio" reserves the right to refrain from concluding the transaction if it is objectively impossible to carry out adequate customer due diligence.
